最終的には前日比122ポイント高の69.21/LBで引けた。推定出来高は23,500枚。
【相場要因】
綿花相場は反発して引けた。直近では比較的少ない出来高の中で方向感の読みづらい展開となっている。
本日の強気要因は、ショートポジションを積み上げている投機筋の利益確定の買いの動きによるものとみられる。
バングラデシュでは政情不安がインフラや経済全体に影を落としている。繊維業界は比較的改善に動いているものの不十分なエネルギー供給が足を引っ張っているとのこと。
大西洋に熱帯低気圧が発生した。勢力を拡大しながら米国上陸となれば周辺の綿作地への影響が懸念されるため、綿花関係者は動向に注目している。
【作況進捗報告】
15州平均のCOTTON CONDITIONのGOOD/EXCELLENTが先週比でそれぞれ2％ずつ減少した。
テキサスのGOOD/EXCELLENTが6％減少しており一部では同ドライランドの水不足が影響しているとのこと。
