NY定期期近12月限は、前日と同程度で寄り付いた後に安値をつけた後、値を戻した。
その後、しばらく横ばいに推移していたが、アジア時間夕方頃から徐々に値を上げ、高値を付けた。しかし、米国での取引が始まるにつれ、値を下げはじめ、取引終盤にかけて軟調な展開を見せた。
最終的に前日比26ポイント安の79.41/lbで引けた。推定出来高は、46,600枚。
【相場要因】
綿花特有のファンダメンタルが乏しい中、本日の綿花相場は全限月を通して軟調な展開を見せて引ける結果となった。
期近7月限の第一回受渡通知日を目前に控えており、未決済建玉が減少している。
また期近7月限と12月限のスプレッドが前日比58ポイント広がり、420ポイントの順鞘になっている。
本日のCFTCレポートを見ると、現地6月16日までの1週間で投機筋が正味で7,000枚近くロングポジションを減らしていることが確認できる。
また米国農務省週間作付進捗報告によると、現地6月21日の時点で、全米において92%の植え付け進捗となっている。5か年平均は94%。テキサス州は、現在90%の進捗で、5か年平均は92%。
作況については、Good/Excellentの割合が前週の50%に対して、53%と増加している。詳細は後述の通り。
米国とイランの情勢に引き続き関心が寄せられている中、一部アナリストからは、金融市場はすでに最善のシナリオが価格に織り込まれつつあるという見方も示されている。引き続き両国の動向に注目が集まる。
