【相場要因】
期近7月限は、3日続騰した。大手投機筋による限月乗り換え期間を背景に強気の展開となった。大手投機筋による限月乗り換えは本日2日目を迎えた。また、テキサス州の悪天候による綿作地へのダメージや、デルタ一帯で土壌水分の飽和状態が未だに改善される兆しが見られないことが、価格の強気を後押ししたとみられる。
マクロ経済的には、米中間貿易に関する両陣営の協議の動向に市場では注目が集まっている。最近の経済状況の悪化を踏まえ、双方にとって有利な合意を目指す動きがあるとのこと。
本日米国時間の午後に、6月8日時点の米綿作付進捗報告が発表された。全体の作付進捗率は76％で、直近過去5年平均の80％に対して4%遅れている。州別では、ミシシッピ州が最も遅れており、作付率は65％で、例年（93％）と比べて28%の遅れとなっている。作柄に関する評価は前年を下回る結果となり、「Good〜Excellent」を合わせた割合は49％で、前年の56％から7%低下している。詳細後述。
