12月限はアジア時間には小高く推移していたが、米国朝時間になると値を下げた。82セント後半に支持を見つけて反発し、最終的に114ポイント安の84.20/LBで引けた。

【相場動向要因】
綿花相場は独自要因に欠き、株高・原油高・ドル安に引っ張られることなく値を下げた。引き続き、需要の縮小・製品在庫の圧迫が弱気材料。
今週いっぱい中国が祝日となっているが、取引は相応の数量を記録している。
7/15につけた安値の82.54が強い支持として作用している様子で、市場参加者らは直近の下げ基調の底がどこになるのかを探している。
また、米国作柄報告が発表された。
米国全体の作柄状況においては、Good/Excellentの比率は先週から変化なしの31％。
テキサス州はGood/Excellent比率は先週から2％下方修正され、10％となった。
今後ハリケーン「イアン」がどの程度まで影響を及ぼすのかについて注目が集まっている。
