12月限は寄り付き後、100PTS以上値を上げるも落ち着きを戻し、米国での取引が本格的になりだすと再び上昇。その後また値を戻すも、結果、前日比56ポイント高の87.00/LBで引けた。推定出来高は21,600枚。
【相場動向要因】
綿花相場は高値も安値も更新することなく、ボックス圏内に戻る動きとなった。
金融市場では今週FEDが追加の利上げを行うかどうかに注視。
5.25-5.5%で据え置きが大方の予想ではあるものの、インフレ再燃に対する懸念や原油高騰による各種エネルギー価格の上昇で、年内までに追加利上げが行われるのではとの見方が広がってきている。
実需筋は依然低調。市場参加者は北半球綿作地における天候と需要動向に注視。
中国の政府在庫オークションの販売率は73%で、価格もさらに下がっている様子。
一方で8月の中国向け原綿や綿糸の輸入量が前年同期及び前月よりも増えていることが報告されている。
米国週間作況が報告された。全米の品質が29% good/excellentと前週と変わらずも依然例年よりも15%悪化した状況。
